Welcome

City Church has a mandate to reach the City of New Orleans and be a fathering ministry to the next generation.

Our dynamic worship services focus on the powerful preaching of the simplicity of Christ as well as hosting an atmosphere of God's presence that attracts Miracles, Signs, and Wonders.

We approach each weekend gathering with great expectation for what God will do in the lives of those who worship with us.

Our Vision

To Build a biblically strong sociallly relevant church of 5000 worshippers meeting on muliptle campuses impacting greater New Orleans and the world with the love of God.

Our Mission

Sharing God's Love with the world

Our Faith

I believe in God, the Father almighty, maker of Heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord.

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, dead, and buried.

He descended into hell.

the third day he rose again from the dead;

He ascended into heaven,

and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father almighty;.

from thence he shall come to judge

the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy catholic (universal) Church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting,

Amen.

Communion

We celebrate communion every Sunday in remembrance of Christ’s Death, burial and resurrection. The act of receiving the communion elements is a way to proclaim the death of Christ and celebrate the unity of His Body- the Church.

Communion is a tangible reminder of God’s love and His covenant promises of salvation, healing and deliverance to the believer. It takes place during the worship experience and is open to all baptized followers of Christ. We believe that the Holy Eucharist is the real presence of Jesus in the bread and wine.

If you will be joining us online, you can prepare communion at home by purchasing grape juice or red or white wine (the fruit of the vine) and flat bread (Unleavened).
